How could anyone open fire on, execute, or beat to death Buddhist monks? I just don't understand that.
Also interesting that we won't get involved to help a people who DO want democracy, but insist on bringing democracy to those who don't - or couldn't care less.
Oh, and kudos to the guy who defected rather than participate in the round-up. If there were more people like that in the world who would make a stand (or at least lay down their arms) rather than do something they know is wrong, things might be different.
